Puffins are the cutest creatures. I was so inspired by these birds when I photographed them on a trip to Treshnish and Staffa from the Isle of Mull in Scotland, they don’t call it Puffin Therapy for nothing. It is a short boat trip to the small island where the sea birds nest, they are quite tame and very entertaining. Flying in from the ocean they appear to land with a thump and lose their balance before waddling off the find their nest, a small burrow in the top of the cliff. Taking off is just as ungainly. They are sociable and spend time preening each other and gesturing with their heads. These amazing creatures spend most of the time far out at sea and mate for life.
